The NanoStation M5 takes the same concept for the future with smooth and elegant formats, together with the integrated technology airMAXâ„¢ (TDMA MIMO Protocol).
- The low cost, high performance and small footprint of the NanoStation M5 make it extremely versatile and economical to implement.
- Uses airMAX Technology Unlike the standard Wi-Fi protocol, the Ubiquiti airMAX Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) protocol allows each customer to send and receive data using time slots programmed by an intelligent AP controller.
- This time spacing method eliminates hidden collision nodes and maximizes connection efficiency. Provides multiple magnitudes of performance improvements in latency, flow rate and scalability compared to all other outdoor systems in their class.
- Smart QoS - Priority is given to voice/video for seamless streaming.
- Scalability - High capacity and scalability.
- Long Distance - Capacity for high speed and carrier-class links.
- Multiple Latency - Functions that drastically reduce noise.
- Dual Ethernet Connectivity The NanoStation M provides a secondary Ethernet port with PoE-enabled software for seamless integration of network video.
- Smart PoE The NanoStation M s remote reboot hardware circuitry allows the device to be remotely rebooted from the power supply location.
- The NanoStation M can also be powered by the TOUGHSwitch PoE from Ubiquiti Networks. Additionally, any NanoStation M can easily be converted to 48V, 802.3af client using the Ubiquiti Instant 802.af Adapter (sold separately).
