Create your own railway empire with Railway Empire on PlayStation 4. Travel to the United States in 1830, when the New World is at its height. The industry is flourishing and the race is on to establish the most dominant and powerful rail power in all of North America - it s time to outsmart your rivals and outperform them as you take your business into the 20th century! At Railway Empire you will create a complex and extensive rail network, buy more than 40 different trains, modeled in extraordinary detail, and purchase or build railway stations, maintenance buildings, factories and tourist attractions to keep your transport network ahead of the competition. If you want the train service to be efficient, you will also have to hire and supervise workers, as well as develop more than 300 technologies, such as improving the mechanisms or the trains themselves, creating advanced infrastructures or services in the workplace, etc., all while progressing through five eras of technological innovation.
- But building and research won t be enough to get you to the top: the competition never sleeps, and for your business to be on track, you will have to survive three rival tycoons. To succeed, you may need to increasingly resort to unorthodox tactics, such as attacking and sabotaging your enemies through assaults and industrial espionage.
